About Claim Ready
The Problem
Most homeowners only discover insurance coverage gaps after disaster strikes.
Policies are complex. Endorsements are overlooked. Coverage limits are misunderstood. By the time a claim happens, it is often too late to fix the exposure.
For many families, that discovery comes at the worst possible moment - after a home has already been damaged or destroyed.
The Insight
Claim Ready was built from real property claims experience.
Founder Jennifer Taylor worked as a licensed public adjuster helping homeowners navigate property insurance claims. Through that work, she repeatedly saw families facing unexpected financial loss because their policies did not cover what they believed they had purchased.
Coverage gaps were rarely caused by bad intentions. They were usually the result of confusion, complexity, and a lack of transparency in the insurance process.
"What if homeowners could understand their insurance exposure before a loss occurs?"
The Solution
Claim Ready was created to help homeowners understand and manage insurance risk before and during a property claim.
The platform analyzes homeowner insurance policies, surfaces coverage gaps in plain English, and provides tools that help policyholders prepare before disaster occurs.
When a loss happens, Claim Ready also provides claim management tools that help homeowners document damage, organize communications, and navigate the insurance process more effectively.
Our Mission
Claim Ready exists to make insurance risk visible before it becomes expensive.
By combining real claims experience with technology, Claim Ready aims to give homeowners clearer insight into their insurance coverage and better tools to navigate one of the most complex financial protections they own.
About the Founder

Jennifer Taylor
Founder, Claim Ready
Licensed Public Adjuster
Jennifer Taylor is the founder and CEO of Claim Ready and a licensed public adjuster who has worked over $2.5 million in active and approved property claims across Georgia and South Carolina. After repeatedly sitting across from families who lost tens of thousands of dollars — not because they had bad insurance, but because nobody had ever checked their policy before the loss — Jennifer built the tool she wished they'd had.
She coined the term Exposure Mapping to describe the process of identifying the financial gap between what a policy promises and what it actually pays. She filed her non-provisional patent during her son's soccer practice.
She started Claim Ready in August 2025, launched the platform in December 2025, and built it entirely bootstrapped while raising three boys and running two other businesses.
Jennifer speaks and writes on insurance transparency, systemic underinsurance, and the structural gap between how coverage is sold and how it performs at claim time. She is currently in conversation with the Consumer Federation of America on the policy failures that leave homeowners financially exposed after a loss.
The Bigger Vision
Claim Ready was built to help homeowners understand their insurance policies and manage the claims process more effectively.
Over time, the goal is to make insurance risk more transparent and understandable for every homeowner - before and during a claim.
By combining real claims experience with technology, Claim Ready aims to bring clarity to one of the most complex and misunderstood financial protections people rely on.
Built From Real Claims Experience
Claim Ready is built on a simple belief: the insurance process should not be a mystery.
Homeowners deserve clear information about their coverage before a disaster occurs - and better tools to manage the process if one does.
